We Believe that Small Things
is How Change Happens
Small Things distributes food, hygiene, and household goods to our network of 107 local partners, which is primarily comprised of community centers, churches, mosques, and synagogues in and around Philadelphia, PA. Our partners understand the needs of their communities, and we supply them with the resources necessary to meet those needs.
Support our Easter 2022 Campaign: How Change Happens - Behind the Scenes at Small Things
The purpose of this campaign is to raise $60,000 to put Small Things in a solid position to continue to serve our neighbors in need by funding the work that goes on “Behind the Scenes”. This work is absolutely critical to continue providing support to our partners and getting food into the hands of those who need it. Volunteer
We truly cannot do what we do without our army of volunteers who sort and pack food boxes each week. We offer public shifts in our warehouse on Thursday evenings and on Saturday mornings as well as private group shifts that make perfect team-building events! Learn more and sign up here.
Donate
Donations pay our hardworking warehouse and small admin staff real wages and health insurance, help support purchases for items to run the warehouse, and benefit our partner organizations. Donations are fully tax-deductible and we are a 501(c)(3).
2021 Annual Report
In 2021, we distributed 8.2 million pounds of food. 133,000 meals went into the community each week. Find other great stats in our annual report!
